Trilofos village is located at the south part of PDO Naoussa. At an altitude of 100 to 220 metres, the average temperatures are higher than Fytia. Its heavier, limestone-based soil tend to produce riper, more tannic and denser wines. Even though the sea is 40 km away, there is no barrier to stop the sea breezes from reaching the region. The constant air flow coming either from the sea or from Mount Vermio is crucial for slowing down the ripening period and postponing the harvest as much as possible.
